TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or playing Driftkeep ("the Game"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Game. Driftkeep is operated by the Driftkeep development team ("we", "us", or "our").

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and play Driftkeep. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using the Game, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Account Registration

To play Driftkeep, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use
• Ensuring your account information is accurate and up to date

4. Game Rules & Conduct

When playing Driftkeep, you agree not to:

• Use cheats, exploits, automation software, bots, or any unauthorised third-party software
• Exploit bugs or glitches - please report them to us instead
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other players
• Use offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate language in chat
• Impersonate staff members or other players
• Attempt to access other players' accounts
• Buy, sell, or trade accounts or in-game items for real money outside official channels
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the Game client

5. Virtual Currency & Purchases

Driftkeep features virtual currencies:

• Gold - Earned through gameplay, used for in-game shops and services
• Driftshards - Premium currency that can be earned in-game or purchased

Virtual currencies and items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash. All purchases of Driftshards are final and non-refundable except where required by law. We reserve the right to modify pricing, availability, and virtual economy systems at any time.

6. Intellectual Property

Driftkeep and all associated content, including but not limited to graphics, audio, code, and game mechanics, are owned by us or our licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to play the Game for personal, non-commercial use. This license does not include the right to copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works.

7. User Content

Any content you submit through the Game (such as chat messages, character names, or feedback) grants us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display that content in connection with the Game. You represent that you have the right to submit such content and that it does not violate any third-party rights.

8. Service Availability

Driftkeep is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Game. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Game at any time, including during maintenance periods, updates, or for any other reason. We are not liable for any loss of progress, virtual items, or data resulting from service interruptions.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, cheating, abusive behaviour, or any other reason at our discretion. You may also delete your account at any time through the Game settings. Upon termination, you lose access to all characters, items, currencies, and progress associated with your account.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Driftkeep. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the Game or via email. Your continued use of Driftkeep after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
